After a very successful and highly competitive Group A, the second group was scheduled to take the stage in the GomTV Starcraft Invitational.

Group B better known as the "Group of Death" by fans put up some of the biggest stars and living legends together in one group. The first member of the group of none other than Jae Dong "n.Die_Jaedong" Lee. After coming off a huge win in EVER StarLeague 2007 he is without a doubt the most popular zerg's on the circuit today. Yoon Yeol "[ReD]NaDa" was the second member who is one of the most accomplished players in Starcraft. The lone protoss of the group Young Min "Much[gm]" Park, CJ Entus's protoss powerhouse who is looking for a major victory to put under his belt. The last member of the group, but certainly not the least is the legend himself Yo Hwan "SlayerS_BoxeR" Lim better known as "The Emperor" of terran.

Perhaps the biggest surprise the event was Young Min Park who was able to show some very strong protoss versus terran play defeating the Yoon Yeol Lee and Yo Hwan Lim. These two victories would safely earn him a spot in the next round.

The fight would now be for second place. Jae Dong Lee after earning a victory in the first match of the group was hoping to at least secure another win to move him onto the next round. In Jae Dong Lee's second game he was able to secure a second win over Yo Hwam Lim. This victory would clench Jae Dong Lee a place in the next round. The next match between Young Min Park and Jae Dong Lee would now only be for who would finish in either first or second place in the group. After their match on BaekmoGoji, Young Min Park would remain undefeated in the group. This would mean that Young Min Park and Jae Dong Lee would be moving onto the next round.
