All of the matches for Thursday and Friday are complete. We now know who will be advancing to single elimination play and who will not be moving on. Several players were able to step up their game on Thursday while some the favorites crumbled under pressure.

The real upsets would happen on Friday where we would see two out of the three Korean representatives both drop games during the group stages. The Koreans, I am sure by now having realized to not underestimate their opponents. Same can also be said about the non-Koreans. They will need to play close to flawlessly to have a chance against these professionals.

Saturday and Sunday are new days though and in e-sports anything can happen. Stay tuned as the 1st round matches in single elimination play are set to begin at 11:00AM.
