Today brings us two exciting match-ups from abroad played out right here in Santa Monica at Barker Hanger. Two championships put four teams from both the United Kingdom and the Continental European regions head to head to decide who will represent their respective regions in a cross-regional finals.

It works like this: The winner of the U.K. Final and the Continental European Final will playoff for a spot in the World Finals. The two second place teams from each region will playoff and face the third place North American team to decide who will occupy the eighth and spot.

Matches begin Friday, June 27th at 4:00pm EST with the Salvo versus the Mint.

UPDATE: There are currently delays from unconfirmed circumstances. GotFrag will keep updates coming as soon as they are received. As of this moment, no word on when the matches will commence.

UPDATE 2: Apparently they are having labor issues with the union that was scheduled to work this event. No word on when or if the issues will be resolved.

UPDATE 3: Issues resolved. The matches will be commencing in the near future, exact time undetermined.

UPDATE 4: Matches will be starting ASAP. Presumably around 2:45.
