Zuggles I love you, but we're only in week 6, we still have a while. If people actually watched the Cowboys they would see how OVERhyped they are. Practically no defense at all. Larry Fitzgerald ate their secondary alive. It was a good game, and I'm surprised Dallas even made a comeback to put the game in overtime. I still think Dallas is a much better team than Arizona and they will get it together.
Honestly, I would much rather lose to Arizona at their stadium than lose to an 0-5 St. Louis team at home. Who would have thought Miami would beat New England and San Diego? Upsets are bound to happen, its just the Cowboys have been hyped up to be something they have yet to prove.
Oh, and I think its really funny that the Cowboys loss to Arizona will overshadow the Redskin's loss to St. Louis even though the Skins lost at home to a much worse team. The Redskins bandwagon was just gettin some momentum too.
if YOU watched the game, the cowboys defense was absolutely amazing through 3 quarters only allowed 1 td at the very very end of the 3rd, but then collapsed in the 4th
the reason they lost, just like they lost against the redskins, is cowboys lost both front line battles, the o-line played like sh it and so did the d line (at least in the 2nd half)
Was there at the stadium as a cowboys fan, pretty depressing lost seeing as how pretty much all calls were going there way on so many levels... The TD in the very first kick and nick folk missing an easy FG is what lost them the game... It could have been a much worse loss if the refs would have called a game.. O-line got ran over... Defense contained Fitzy in the first half he had like 2 or 3 catches in the first half of the game...
I didn't really watch replays of that blocked punt, did anyone even touch that guy who blocked the punt?
Anyway, was quite a few Cowboy fans and my brother who was watching the game said at times it seemed like there were more cowboy fans then cardinals... Lost my voice... AWESOME GAME
Hey mitch I'm not sure if you follow football, but Terence is injured and has played like two and a half games this year, pacman was suspended a whole season and is learning a new defensive scheme, and Roy Williams is hurt and was NEVER one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Roy is a big hit player who struggles covering.
Yeah I love how the Giants got taken to overtime with the Bengals and barely won and no one talks about it, but when the Cowboys play sloppy but still beat the Bengals by 10 its all over the news.
yeah the pats d used to be able to win games with a power run game they won games last year by throwing the ball which they cant do now because brady is out they won't be good this year, but will probably be good when brady gets back. mayo will have another year. i can see meriweather becoming a player like polamalu. good things to come for that defense.
i dont think there has been that much 'hype' about the cowboys defense. it was never the reason why they won games, at least in recent years. t.o is not getting the ball and the run game has been non existent since they played the packers.
lets see roy williams is old and he broke his had like 2 weeks ago and larry is 6 ' 3 and has a massive vertical and all the dbs from dallas are no more then 5 ' 8. so dallas needs a better secondary imagine playing againts a wide out like calvin johnson who is 6 ' 5 and like 38 inch vertival.
i live in arizona and have been a cardinals fan since i was born(sad, huh?), but it looked like today that the cardinals were just flat out better. we won even without anquan boldin, even with the referees blowing call after call in the cowboys' favor to the point where me and my brother didn't even wanna watch(seriously, how many times did flozell adams hold bertrand berry and darnell dockett?). i'm not even gonna go into the missed fumble calls that cost us somewhere between 10-14 points(not the tuck rule call which by the way is just flat out retarded) and even with our "home crowd" being mostly cowboys fans.
our d-line dominated on the pass rush and the cowboys' running game, and rod hood(unbelievably underrated) completely dominated terrell owens. our offense struggled mostly throughout the first half, and we got our usual penalties and bonehead plays, but underneath it all, the cardinals, from my perspective, seemed like throughout the whole game they were just better overall than the cowboys. it honestly seemed like the cardinals should've beat the cowboys by 20 points, but the referees tend to blow calls against you when you're playing teams like the cowboys and the patriots. by the way, larry fitzgerald is the best receiver in the game.
#24 actually netro there was a TON of hype around the cowboys defense at the beginning of the year. Drafting Mike Jenkins and picking up Pacman while already having Anthony Henry and Terence Newman. Even picking up Zach Thomas too and having a great pass rusher like DeMarcus Ware.
CowBoys Are so....

The Dallas Cowboys: The best drama in the NFL.

Any Cowboy fan will tell you our secondary is awful. Quit living in denial.

And I live in Dallas, pretty sure I'm a Cowboys fan, I just know when to admit they're doing bad.
wait... nvm

Terrance Newman, Pacman Jones, and Roy Williams are three of the best players in the NFL secondary.
The line got pushed around in the 4th quarter.
That and Larry Fitzgerald is a beast.
not bad
just not great
