(USA) - Layered Technologies and CyberEvolution come together once again to present the $10,000 Grand Championship for the CEVO Professional Season 8 Playoffs. Six out of the ten teams have qualified to participate in the playoffs after their nine weeks of regular season match play. For a third season in a row, X3O has secured the #1 seed going into the playoffs and have won two out of three times. They will also receive a BYE for the first round, along with MoB Gaming, and watch the start of the competition.

X3O is said to be a heavy favorite this season and has shown that quite well with less than a hand full of losses. Right at their heels is the fresh new team to CEVO Professional, MoB Gaming. MoB executed a great finish this season winning eight of the last nine games to give them the #2 seed. Most of the teams so far have endured or participated in an upset, so any more surprises are certainly not unexpected.
