Few would have thought that the Extreme Masters defending champion would reach week four sitting in the last spot of its group. Meet Your Makers is already out of the race for the next stage and has nothing to fight for other than pride. After going through a rough period of results, MYM will be seeking a win to get back on track, but will face a highly-motivated mTw group, which gave fnatic a scare last week.

Finally a chance for MYM to get out of the basement ... better not blow it!
mTw needs a little more time in the saddle with the new lineup before they win this rodeo.
The new mTw line-up has some talent. However, that won't be enough versus a more-experienced team that needs good results.
I never like teams without something on the line, so I find it hard to give MYM the nod. mTw will win this!
mTw showed a strong performance against Fnatic on de_nuke. However I think that Fnatic just underestimated them and MYM won't make this mistake again.

Despite a tough loss recently in NGL ONE to MYM, fnatic enters week four with a comfortable lead in its EM group, coming off of a close 3-map victory over mTw last go-round - and with a little luck in the Virtus.Pro-SoA match, the Swedish squad may only need this one win to lock up first place. Against All Authority recently lost two of its most important pieces, yet somehow managed to shock Virtus.Pro last week with replacements and has a bit of momentum going for it.

aAa is good, but fnatic is great.
Fnatic will have no respect for authority here, they like it in first place.
With Marc "bisou" Naoum clearly out of shape, aAa should pose little threat to the Swedish giant.
aAa has always been a strong squad but they don’t have f0rest on their roster. Fnatic is too much for the French.
Even though Fnatic had some minor problems against mTw.de they should be able to dominate aAa. cArn > all

mousesports has won 9 of its last 10 games and will hope to continue its run of excellence against the Bulgarian team. With mouz having to take on the former NoA squad in week 5, the German team is in a must-win situation, while Man1a is still pointless in the league and is scrambling to reach the top three.

Man1a did well to get this far, but they don't make a trap big enough for this mouz in Bulgaria.
mousesports momentum carries them through this.
Mousesports is clearly the favorite here, and with so much at stake, they won't risk an upset.
This one is pretty obvious. Unless Mouz decides to not show, they should come home with a victory.
Mousesports has shown some strong performances lately and is good in shape. I don't think the Bulgarian powerhouse will have a chance to stop the German mouse!

The Danish team heads into this match a bit shell-shocked after a stunning 16-2 loss to roccat for NGL ONE 2007/2008. However, mTw is second in the table and has not lost a single map yet in EM play, and a strong showing forZe, who is sitting in the third spot with two straight losses, will go a long way to boosting mTw's confidence.

NoA ... er mTw.dk hands down. 3/5 ex Virtus will be no match for Viking power.
mTw.dk unfortunately cannot maintain the streak, the Russians in a close one.
mTw is in desperate need of a win after its poor showing in NGL ONE against roccat and will show everything it has against the Russians.
forZe always seems to be Russia's overlooked younger brother compared to Virtus.Pro internationally. I just don’t see them changing that here against mTw.dk.
There isn't much to say about this matchup. mTw.dk will win this match 2:0.

Confidence is pretty high amongst the Danish players after a convincing 2-0 win over Meet Your Makers in round three, keeping SoA close to fnatic and Virtus.pro. Spirit of Amiga has found its golden boy in Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen, while the Russians have been struggling lately without Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko in ESL play.

SoA upset MYM, but I think Virtus with LeX and Edward will be too much for them.
Spirit of Amiga sounds too much like Spirit of America and the Russians are still not happy about their WCG US visit.
With Sally barred from all ESL play, Virtus.pro shouldn't be able to overcome a highly-motivated Spirit of Amiga.
I like the Russians here, even without Sally. Virtus.Pro has the talent to field a nice upset.
SoA surprised quite some people by beating MYM. Let's see if they can keep their strong performance up without using the famous Silent Walk. AEQUITAS is watching you :)

emuLate is currently third in the group after a somewhat-surprising 2-0 loss to CMAX.gg last week and can't afford another slip up. Meanwhile, aTTaX has been linked with roster changes and Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer seems to have been shown to the door. The Germans have a decisive match next week against group-leading CMAX.gg, and a win over the French could be a great momentum-boost.

After the thumping from CMAX, emuLate will come back stronger than before.
aTTaX seems a little unstable with roster changes and emuLate need this.
emuLate is known for having a hard time online, so aTTaX should make their record 3-0.
emuLate seems to be the only French team of recent memory who can actually go outside of France and be successful. Even though it’s online, I still like the French here.
This will be a really exciting match as aTTaX is going to make a roster change and emulate isn't famous for online play. It will be a very very close match.

x6tence is still looking for its first win in the league after losses to CMAX.gg and emuLate in the first two weeks. The Spanish team has had a pretty hard time on its way back to the top and Extreme Masters may just come as another disappointment for x6tence. wooSai is currently fourth in the table after defeating Playzone in week 3 and with aTTaX squaring off against emuLate, a win for the Danish squad is critical if they want to stay in contention.

wooSai smokes the overrated Spainards.
This time the bull wins and the guy with the red cape loses, x6tence gets a much needed win.
With x6tence in such a poor form, wooSai should claim all three points easily.
Does one of these teams actually have to win? wooSai will I guess.
Woosai will win this pretty boring match.

The Finnish team will be the favorite to win this game as it looks to maintain its spot up top. The win against WCG-champion emuLate must have boosted their confidence, who is now seeking its fourth straight win. Playzone has lost all three games, and so far is one of the worst squads of the league. Moreover, Frank "frankdude" Sjöström abandoned the squad last week and it is still unknown who will fill the last spot in the team.

Finns over the Swedes. PZ's goal should be to avoid humiliation.
A little bit lopsided, CMAX.
CMAX.gg should cruise to an easy 2-0 thrashing of Playzone.
It takes five guys to play a CS match, CMAX.gg going away.
Playzone can be happy about each round they win. It will be a easy match for CMAX.gg

With EPS done, competo's focus has shifted to international competitions. The German team is second in the group but is being closely followed by SK Gaming, who has only played two games. With four teams just one game back, competo can't risk another loss. Gravitas Gaming is an improving side and won a critical 2-1 win over roccat in week two. Both teams will be looking to grab three big points as they will boost their chances of reaching the next stage.

Competo is surprisingly strong, it'll be tough but they should take it.
Gravitas gets a hard fought victory here.
Competo has been riding high and should get the win here, as Gravitas Gaming is still figuring things out.
Gravitas big win over roccat showed me something, I like them to make it back to back and shake things up.
Even though Gravtias showed some strong performance lately I have a feeling that Competo will win 2:1. Mason fighting!

The Polish squad opened the Extreme Masters season with a surprising 2-1 win over Gravitas Gaming, but has failed to achieve anything since. This time, UNITED will meet SK Gaming, who has been out of the spotlight but is always dangerous. The Swedish side is still without a loss in the league and a win here give it the top place in the group.

SK will remind UNITED of what it means to be in the big leagues.
SK is still the team to beat regardless of the lineup, and this is one of the better ones.
SK Gaming clearly have the better squad and should aim for no less than an easy 2-0 win.
SK will win for putting my picture on the front page of their website, even if the picture was from high school (nearly 10 years ago).
What can I say? 2:0 for SK-Gaming.
