Hailing from Sweden, team Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) enters the DirecTV Championship Gaming Invitational tournament as the lone international competitor. After sitting out WSVG Intel Summer Championships and coming off of a solid 5th-8th place finish at ESWC 2006, the Swedes look to make a stand against 3 of the best teams North America has to offer.

What to watch for: With the limited number of participants and maps at CGI, the stage is set for a potential ESWC rematch -- NiP and Team 3D on de_train -- only this time we're assured no ties.
