my team is learning de_train since we're usually just a bunch of noobs playing dust2. is there a website that shows the nicknames of the important spots on the map?
run around w/ your team and make them up yourself.
the most common ones are as follows:
the trains have numbers above them, so you refer to them as train 1-6, respectively.
upper inside - upper entrance to inner bombsite
lower inside - lower entrance to inner bombsite
ladder room - the room youre in when you go down the small ladder
pop dog outer - the train next to ladder room outside, it has a "popdog" logo on it
pop dog inner - the train next to lower ramp inside, it also has a "pop dog" logo on it.
bomb train outer/inner - self explanatory
flatbed - the train located next to the ladder in inner bombsite that's flat and doesnt have a storage thing on it.
alley 4/5/6 are labeled based on what train are in that alley.
ivy/alley - the alley that leads from t-side mid to alley 6
e-b0x - that big electrical box next to outside pop dog
z - the z shaped hallway that connects inner bombsite to outside.
the rest of these are special names my team has for stuff:
sandwich - the area in between the 2 5 trains outside.
heaven - some people call this tower, that big platform at the top of the ladder outside.
hell - area next to the bottom of the ladder outside.
t-mid hall - self explanatory, but to have a special name for it to identify it quicker can sometimes be useful (my old team used to call it synagogue b/c one of our guys was jewish)
backalley - the alley that you can see when you go up the ct spawn ramp.
The "*PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* ^^FIREWORKXZZZZ^^" Guy.
where to learn map nicknames
the rest of the spots really just make them up yourself either like "gay spot" or where someone always plays (storm box by alley)

I agree with all of those comments.
where'd you get that from?
i looked at the united 5 gaming website and they don't have anything to help players, as far as i can tell
