After an extended leave of absence, flak has returned to Call of Duty alongside PHG. PHG have been through an interesting few months. While they are season one CAL-Main champions, they also finished last in CEVO-Professional among teams that played out the season. Along with the ending of the CEVO season came the announcement from g|adia7or that he was leaving the club and joining Nexus. At a point when many teams would have folded and chalked it up to having a good run, Rob “grim” Koster’s PHG is showing a resilience characteristic of their commendable stability and looks to get back on track in upcoming leagues and future LANs. When asked about the new addition, Koster comments: “PowerHouse gaming has been looking for a solid 5th for a while now keeping things relatively quiet. Alex came to me saying he wants to get serious again and after a short time we all realized he is the guy to fit the final spot. We are eager to LAN with him at NERV. Welcome to the family.” In the near future, PHG will be seen competing in TGL-Professional, CAL-Main, the CEVO OCZ tournament, and the s2 CEVO-Pro Placement. In addition, they are already committed and signed up for the upcoming NERV LAN event. In closing, Lasselle comments: “I was looking for a solid team that I knew could perform on LAN and when I decided to be serious about gaming after my departure from Phoenix, I looked towards players that I knew from the CoD2 LAN scene. Recently there's been a lot of criticism towards PHG because of their apparent "inconsistency", hopefully the addition of my online and LAN experience will give the team the consistency and reputation they deserve.” Roster:
