Size Does Matter! More Players = More Cash for CoD4

CEVO is excited to announce increased CASH prize pots for our inaugural season of Call of Duty 4 PC! After a very strong player turnout, we're happy to be able to add $1,500.00 to the prize pool for Season 1. The money will be split evenly between the two divisions with $750.00 being added to both the Professional and Amateur pots. The overall prize pool for the season now stands at $6,500.00.

If you haven't signed up yet, there's still time! Team registration will remain open through preseason until Sunday, February 10th at midnight PST. Schedules for week one will be released shortly thereafter.

Here are the updated prize distribution breakdowns...

CEVO-Professional - $4,250.00

1st Place - 50% of the prize pot
2nd Place - 35% of the prize pot
3rd Place - 15% of the prize pot

CEVO-Amateur - $2,250.00

1st Place - 40% of the prize pot
2nd Place - 25% of the prize pot
3rd Place - 15% of the prize pot
4th Place - 10% of the prize pot
5th Place - 5% of the prize pot
6th Place - 5% of the prize pot

Map Rotation:

Preseason - mp_farm
Week 1 - mp_citystreets
Week 2 - mp_pipeline
Week 3 - mp_vacant
Week 4 - mp_strike
Week 5 - mp_overgrown
Week 6 - mp_crash
Week 7 - mp_backlot
Week 8 - mp_crossfire
OOW - mp_strike

OOW (Out of Week) makeup matches are scheduled when two teams need makeups from different weeks and have no one to play against that has a FF on the same map. Teams that are scheduled OOW matches throughout the season are allowed to play on any map that the two teams can agree on. If the two teams cannot agree on a specific map, then mp_farm will be used.

Roster Locks:

Rosters will remain open all throughout the preseason until Sunday, February 10th. After the regular season begins, rosters will be open every week from 12:00 AM Friday - 11:59 PM Sunday PST. Remember, any time the rosters are locked we will NOT move you from one roster to another UNLESS your opponent(s) approve.

Also, Team registration for our Season one event is still OPEN. Registration will remain open all throughout pre-season until Sunday, February 10th.
