cod 4 is a boring version of cs and /or cs source. they made cod 2 and 4 way to newb friendly to ever gain my respect again. so on to cs:s and CoD1 for me. wish every1 would quit CoD4 and come back to CoD1 :)
personally i think cod2 is the most fun out of them all, cod4 was good at first becuase of it being noob friendly you could get into it really easily, but when i go back to cod1 now it just seems SO slow srsly and just boring as hell like aaron sed, Cod2 ftw
CoD2 would have been on the same level as cod1 if they didn't add such newb friendly gameplay/HUD like regen, dots on map, crosshair, cook nades, no HP on the hud. things like that is why the best cod1 players stopped playing after a season or two of CoD2.
;D Actually, if someone put some time making cod2 like cod1, making a fresh "promod", the game would have a chance, at least it would make a thrid of the inactive players try it again.
But then again, most are sceptic about this kind of stuff. If you have a promod, you have to have a good anticheat, cause PB doesnt update anymore ? Dunno, ye be the happy judges.
Personally, from a manager wise. I felt that Call of Duty 2 was the best out of the series. I knew that it would be tough for Call of Duty 4 to comepte with CS and CS:S. I am glad to see that Call of Duty 5 is going back to its roots with World at War. It is a much better idea, and that is how COD got big.

The last time PB updated for CoD2 was 9/12/08 so yes, it does still update.
