Im not using an LCD Im using a CRT I am aware that my monitor can get 100 i want to know how I can get 100 HZ in COD due to it not being in the options
I had a monitor that went to 105hz, and the option to change it was in cod. When I swapped to TFT the option for 105HZ was gone it was maxed @ 75hz so I'm guessing COD detects your hertz so if it's not there your monitor isn't capable of higher?
#15 are you retarded? Ofcourse you can play with higer refresh rate. If you cant select it ingame it means ur monitor doesnt support it or have native support for it.
you need to have the hz in windows b4 u can get it in cod4, windows has notorious bugs with hz so use reforce and try to run ur windows and cod4 in the same res
Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager.
Find "Monitors" > Right click it > select No, Not this time > Install from a list or specific location > Don't search. I will choose a driver to install > Have Disk > Browse > Find the INF file.

Lowering your resolution helps
On my CRT the maxes are:
1280x960 : 120hz
1024x768 : 150hz
800x600 : 180hz
640x480 : ~200 hz
In the console, /r_displayRefresh 120hz
I got also an CRT and when i put 800x600 in Windows and ingame i cant set 100 or 120 hz ingame.
CoD4 is maximum 85 hz, if anyone know how i can reach 100 pls tell me me how....
<- 8800gtx vista

i had 105hz @ cod4 and it let me chose in _INGAME_ so ur theory is spasticated
