Dear rafp,

In promod 3 my FPS sky-rocketed. I'd randomly get drops from 150-250 to 80 and in extreme cases lower, now though, I get a constant 250 everywhere in every situation. To much of my dismay, promod 3 isn't widely being accepted by the competitive community, rafp should re-release promod 2 with all these badass FPS fixes.

I'd actually be getting a lot more FPS if I wasn't at 1280x1024 with full AA & AF, but it's for demonstration purposes.

Everyone can turn it off in their settings anyway so its a moot point to argue about keeping it in. I'm sure as hell not going to use it if I don't have to.

I could careless about muzzle flash on or off, I just want the effin' FPS improvements.

Also, I see nothing different about the screenshots, where's the huge FPS boost coming from?..

You have to turn dynamic lights off in order to turn off muzzle flash (the only way I know how anyway). There is still smoke but depending on your settings its barely noticeable. I'm pretty sure you can use the command r_dlightlimit to set a specific number of dynamic lights but I have no idea which ones get turned on/off.

Can someone take a screenshot of what their muzzle flash actually looks like? Id like to see it from someones machine where they say it makes a difference.

EDIT: Actually after f*cking around some I think the dynamic lights only remove the lighting on objects you are near while firing. Im not sure anymore what the muzzle flash everyone keeps talking about is but I know there isnt anything on my screen that even resembles flash or fire coming out of the barrel of my gun...lol. Just some smoke.

#1 that happens for me too, i did some testing and i think it's because r_multigpu is locked at 1 (i'm not 100% sure)

promod3=fail maybe if they did something useful in it, like actually balance the weps better, fix the radar, and countless other things listed in all kinds of threads on all sorts of league forums. pam4 was fine, just needed to mod the 74u.. united fix > awpfix

Are you sure both pictures are from promod3? I thought they changed the ammo counter to numerical in promod3.

ammo counter style is optional, theres a command for it
