Which drivers do you guys suggest for an 8800GT ? (E6400,2gb crucial ram) Getting some odd fps fluctuation's which shouldn't be happening on toujane etc. I have fps graph up and normal fps is 100-150 range, then when i get choppiness the graph will show like 33-500 fps (since fps is dipping thats where im getting hurt).

So - anyone got some good driver recommendations the LATEST are not working too well for me.

a link for the drivers would be great too.

i have a 8800gt also and this drivers are by far the best:

A while ago I was looking at custom drivers for my 8800GTS. I tried a few different ones and benchmarks were worst than the Nvidia drivers. Anyone have any luck with other drivers on their 8800GTS?

What resolution might that be? depends on what your monitor supports really doesn't it.

There's only one version of the GT, but it's split into the 512mb and 256mb sub-types. You're probably thinking of the 8800GTS.

well for one, i have the 512 version and it has higher mb which relates on how it can handle resolutions

2nd, i tweak a lot of things- go into your nvidia settings and there are lots of things to change for better fps as well as some other things

but i dont overclock
