"KEY CODE IN USE"

I just installed COD2, I got to play some servers, but soon as I instaleld the 1.2 patch it says "KEY CODE IN USE" when I try to connect to servers

And the game has been running fine until the 1.2 patch came out..

restart your computer it happened to me and i restarted and it work, and try joining a pb server not a non pb server.

its PB because PB kicked me for "No Packet Flow". Just reinstall and you'll be fine :)

hi evry1 any 1 have a cod2 1.2 server working with non original cd keys on the internet hlp plz...

Only you have to change your cdkey, and after that will cod2 will start normaly. I was at same problem and I try this and it work!!!

You have to wait 15-30 minutes after updating the patch to play or else you will get that error. It's a known problem.

SOLUTION to ALL cod2 PROBLEMS (in 3 simple steps):

1: uninstall cod2
2: install cod4
3: hit yourself in the face
